"Basic but will do in a pinch."

It is in a good area, with plenty of free parking, felt very safe. Rooms were clean, and beds pretty comfy. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Bathroom was very clean, and a nice modern shower with lovely hot water. Host helped me with twin beds for my two boys to share a room, and made sure we were located on the same level so shared the bathroom facilities. this was much appreciated.

Kitchen was very rundown and the utensils were all pretty grubby - we washed them all before we used them. There were plenty of pots and pans, but hardly any cutlery. Couldnt find 1 fork. thankfully we had some picnic-ware we brought so we used that. It's pretty overpriced per night for very basic, ramshackle accommodation. There was a spare door in the utility area, some washing hanging in the shared dining/living room over the entire weekend. Kitchen is very rundown and sticky.

The location is nice, the bedroom was clean and the living area was OK to.

No customary tea/coffee/water & kettle in the room, no spare power points (two single ones taken by lamp & TV, could be made doubles). No heat, radiator cold/not working? The kitchen was in dire need of a good clean and refurbishment, the microwave that was switched on was rusty and dirty and unfit to use. I had far better for half the price last year at a room in an inn, not good for the price. On the whole pretty dissapointing, had an issue with bedding being removed prior to my arrival by other residents apparently, had to wait some time for that to be resolved but it was resolved in time thankfully. The state of the kitchen and no heating spoilt it for me really, glad it wasn't winter and I only stayed one night.

Everything was adequate for the price

Small details- no lightbulb in downstairs toilet. Woken up on both mornings of stay by cleaner wanting to know when I would be checking out.
