The location was beautiful ansd the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We ate a lovely dinner and hearty breakfast at a beautiful location. We didn't stay for long as we were hikinh but you can rent bikes etc to go into the town.

I have stayed for 2 nights in the starlight hostel and I absolutely enjoyed it! The hostel is located in the beautiful village of the Quilotoa Loop. The view from the hostel is just stunning, the food delicious, the blankets are warm, the owners and workers such nice people. I absolutely recommend you to stay there to see how the sunset lights the mountains and clouds come to the valley. Gracias por el lugar tan hermoso!

"Perfect location and vibe to kick off your Quilotoa Loop trek!"

All good! Myra and Victor and Rambo the dog were the consummate hosts. Lots of free reads and games to play in dining area, as well as a bar for a beer or glass of wine. Rambo is a super friendly and fun dog. He accompanied us on a walk into town. Kept the other dogs at bay ;-). Outdoor table overlooks stunning Andean mountains and valleys and what lies ahead on the Quilotoa Loop. Starlight's location is picture perfect and situated right at the trailhead! Food so v tasty, Myra, especially your locro de papa soup! See you again next time!

What super warm, courteous and helpful owners! Super cute and cosy hostel! Dormitory in the attic. Unfortunately no curtains and only one bathroom in the house when fully booked. But there are more options outside. Vegetarian dinner and vegan breakfast! Try to make everything possible! Highly recommend this hostel Not Inlay for the hikers to Quilotoa!

The owners are very kind and welcoming people. And the price is super affordable! I got some extra tips for the hike. They allowed me to leave some of my bags there so I didn't have to carry them in the mountains.
