The location was good for where we wanted to visit. Key safe easy to locate. Internet works well.

The mattress is appalling, needs replacing. Despite the booking being for 2 people we were only given 2 pillows and 1 towel. Kitchen very dirty. Downstairs toilet needs a good clean. Don't walk around barefoot unless you want dirty feet. Safety seems to be an issue as all the keys in the safe were the same with only 1 key per room, meaning the front door lock and our room locks are all the same. Not very safe at all. Room was not described as being by the front door, so is very noisy. T.V. remote buttons are broken so no use. The available parking is not as described - 1 designated space and then on street parking which has time restrictions. Although the accommodation is cheap, that doesn't mean that it's ok to be dirty and uncomfortable.

Good location to Braintree and walking distance to pubs. Nice to have a communual space to sit and kitchen to use.

Parking is first come first served on the street, which was busy, so we had to walk a little way with our luggage. The front bedroom by the front door is very noisy with road traffic all night. The mattress needs replacing, it is incredibly soft and bouncy so not a great sleep and the mattress the second room needs replacing as the springs have gone. Although a kettle and mugs are supplied there were two tea bags and no milk, coffee or sugar.

Tv was to small for the room, plus the remote for tv didn't work

Mattress should have been replaced 20 years ago, we could feel every spring ! Very poorly maintained room, shower riser barely fixed to wall. Mirror must have fallen off the wall-was propped up in corner. Could not use outside space as deck was rotted and weeds everywhere. Furniture in communal lounge/kitchen in poor condition.
