Share House Amigos

The hosts went above and beyond to be warm and welcoming. They stocked the fridge with breakfast materials and even drove us and our luggage to the train station. The house is beautiful, and we had a lot more private space than we expected. It's also close to the cable car to the top of the mountain, which has amazing views, especially around sunset. We were able to store our bikes overnight. Also, Isau and Elena speak Spanish.

Very good location to explore Onnomichi and Mukaishima island. Private room with large tatami space and one spearate bedroom with 3 beds. Entrance and bathroom are shared with the hosts. Hosts are very friendly, speaking Spanish as well. The house is old, but there is everything you need, airco works fine, kitchen is well equipped, filter coffee / tea, bread and eggs for breakfast were provided too. We also liked the little cat, very cute!

Small road leading to the parking is a bit narrow, be careful if you have a large car.

Great to stay in an authentic Japanese house with futons and straw floor. Our son enjoyed the massage chair. We really appreciated the provided food for breakfast and loved the random visits from their cat. Great location to walk to cat alley and and even the train station. You can walk through the shōtengai or along the water to get to the train station.

Great location, large living area for our family of 5, host were very hospitable and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great places to eat near by.

Nothing

This was one of the best places we have slept during our 2 week japan trip. I knew it would be good because of the good comments, but it was so nice. The house is a big old Japanese house. You really feel the Japanese vibe. It is not new so don't expect to have an amazing bathroom or toilets. It is what is it and I think it makes it so charming. The room is very big, and you have kind of a balcony to look at the street and people walking by. Walls are thin so you can hear the outside clearly but it is a calm area. There are beds but we wanted to sleep on futons which they gladly had. They offer bread eggs and ham for breakfast which is so kind. Our host were so kind and friendly we loved staying here. Thank you again for everything, and the ride back to the train station. I will never forget it !!!

A bit cold in the house

I loved the old-fashioned house. It reminded me of my grandparents' old place in Mie prefecture. I was nostalgic laying out the futon at bedtime. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. It was convenient to be able to use the kitchen downstairs to make ourselves breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning. Eggs, bread, ham, and coffee were even provided.

It isn't super close to the train station but it was not a long walk and easy to find. Not far from the ropeway going up to the Senkoji temple.
