Swiss Cottage Guest House

The Attic room is a really lovely space with a sofa , bed,cooking facilities and a fridge. You have access to a small outdoor space with a table and 2 chairs which was also nice to have. It is in a fabulous location with a sea view and Table Mountain just behind you. 2 minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Chris and Darwin are attentive and make sure you have everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

The bathroom is an issue. We were well warned but be aware it is VERY small and there is only 1 basin to meet all your washing needs ie hand washing and dishwashing.

Could be great to have an AC, but with 2 fans available it was fine.

Exceptional position, minutes from the beach, supermarkets and restaurants yet quiet. Great communication from Chris. As the property was empty the day before we were able to check in early, much appreciated, thank you Chris.

Only very minor but it would have been better to have a blackout blind in the bedroom window facing the mountains. Sun streams in early morning.

I was so positively surprised about the place. I guess I expected a bit darker and heavier feel because of the ”Swiss Cottage” style. Instead, it was very cozy and home-like and I really enjoyed my stay. Close to everything but silent area.

Location couldn't be any better. Staff are excellent, very attentive and helpful. Very clean, very comfortable, very private. The perfect place for a stay in Cape Town. I will definitely be back

We loved everything about Swiss Cottage. The rooms were very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Beautiful mountain views from our room and the location was perfect. Just a short stroll away from beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The staff, Chris and Darwin were so kind, polite and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you so much Chris and Darwin for making our stay so enjoyable

Nothing to dislike

Nice place, old an quirky but very clean. Enjoyed the proposed wines.

Bathroom is a bit small

My mistake was that I didn't book this guest for the whole vacation! Thanks Chris and Darwin, you guys are cool.
