Casa Paliton Siquijor near Beach

Location is ok, you can walk to some bars but will need a motorbike to get to most of the town and see the island (however this is the same for everywhere on the island)

The place is past its prime, the beds are hard / uncomfortable and the tin roof means it’s very loud in the rooms if it rains. The main issue is that the shower did not work (the holes were blocked from build up) and the bathroom door handle was broken (if you closed the door completely it would jam and could only be opened from the outside - my friend got stuck in the bathroom). When I asked the owner about the shower and door, she said she was aware of it and she needed to fix it (but still rented out the room knowing it was broken). We had the room booked for 5 days and it was not fixed during this time, despite asking. Overall, it’s an ok stay if you’re on a budget but if you want comfort and a guaranteed shower I’d recommend staying else where.

When we arrived there wasn't electricity,so there was no air conditioning either 🤦 too hot to sleep 🤦
