Ein Erlebnis, dort im Kingsway Guest House Gast zu sein: Eine bis ins letzte Detail liebevoll und mit großem ästhetischem Spürsinn ausgestattete 160 Jahre alte viktorianische Stadtvilla. Aber vor allem sind es die beiden charmanten Eigentümer Lizzy & Gary und herzlichen Gastgeber, die unseren Aufenthalt in der ruhigen, verkehrstechnisch gut angebundenen Lage, und unsere Zeit in Edinburgh zu einem ganz besonderen Highlight gemacht haben. Jede Empfehlung- ob Restaurants, Pubs, Cafés oder kulturelle Entdeckungen- sind einzigartig, handverlesen, kenntnisreich! Wer je nach Edinburgh kommen sollte, sollte sich dieses Kleinod nicht entgehen lassen! 5 *****!

"Exceptional"

We were really looking forward to staying here for months and we were not disappointed! The moment we entered our room, we were mind blown by the simple but beautiful design and layout. The beds were so soft and comfortable and there was no noise to disturb us. Location is very ideal, though a 15-20 minute bus ride to the city centre. But walkable. The breakfast stole the spotlight. It was the main reason we chose this place and we were impressed by the entire system of service. Very hearty and good start to the day. The hostess is so hospitable and kind. She ensured all her guests were comfortable and happy with their stay. They even moved us down to the 1st floor after we had requested because of our old aunt. Both the host and hostess greeted us goodbye as we moved on to our next destination. It was the highlight of our short trip and was something to look forward to after a tiring day of sightseeing. A perfect stay for people from Northeast India. Thank you, Lizzie and Gary!

Smaakval ingericht pand. Typische, mooie stijl. Zeer rustige ligging. Geen lawaai 's nachts. Zeer goed onthaal ! Heel vriendelijke gastvrouw (Lizzie). Steeds bereid om informatie te verstrekken van Edinburgh. Zeer uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt (goeie chef Gary !). Geen probleem om 1 dag extra ontbijt te voorzien voor bezoekers (geen overnachters).

Iets verder van het centrum gelegen. (maar dus rustig !) (bushalte op 200m)
