Bandulas Beach House

Уютный милый гостевой дом с отдельным выходом к пляжу. Пляж прекрасный, рядом не было ни души. При желании к шезлонгам могут вынести еду или сок. Приветливый обслуживающий персонал.

Нет горячей воды! Это нужно учитывать Полотенца можно было бы заменить Завтраки каждый день одинаковые: омлет/яичница + хлеб/ масло/ джем

Mandulas Beach House to prawdziwa perełka na Sri Lance. Już od pierwszej chwili czuliśmy się tam zaopiekowani i bezpieczni. Właściciel Kalo stworzył niezwykle klimatyczne miejsce – spokojne, czyste i pełne dobrej energii. Tarangha – fantastyczna i wspaniała osoba. Pomagał nam we wszystkim, spełniał każdą zachciankę, dawał świetne wskazówki, a nawet zorganizował transfer do kolejnego hotelu w najlepszej możliwej cenie. Dzięki niemu naprawdę czuliśmy się „zaopiekowani”, a nie tylko obsłużeni. Hotel jest , zadbany i położony tuż przy plaży, która praktycznie była prywatna – cisza, spokój, śpiew ptaków i absolutna oaza relaksu. Idealne miejsce, jeśli ktoś chce odpocząć od zgiełku. Śniadania były bardzo obfite i pyszne, a ceny na miejscu niezwykle przystępne. Trudno chcieć czegoś więcej. Jeśli jesteś na Sri Lance, nie możesz ominąć Bandulas Beach House. My na pewno.

It is very nice, a hidden place with lovely people. The room is comfortable, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. They offer various programs close to their place. We went on a boat ride in the lagoon, which was only a few minutes' walk from the house. It was worth it!

The location itself was excellent, albeit a bit hard to find at first as it lies well behind the main road. However it isn't walking distance to the main part of Hikwaduwa. We got off to a bad start as the room we booked and paid extra for was given to another booking in error. We were initially told this would be rectified in 3-4 hours and were given another room in the meantime. Our first day in Hikwaduwa was essentially waiting around to move rooms, only for the other persons to arrive back and refuse to move and we'd have to wait till the next day. We were offered $5 off our booking which was a poor gesture considering the disruption involved. The room itself was what was pictured, however the balcony was not enjoyable to use as there would be smoke blowing through on a regular basis. The shower was incredibly weak and mostly cold water. The lock on the door was broken and we were provided with a padlock in it's place which wasn't ideal and very loud to make use of. By far the best feature of the beach house was the direct pathway access to a secluded beach with loungers to use which was incredible.

Great value for money - really clean, cosy and comfortable room with AC, nice garden, great food and drinks. Outside of the busy turistic area, so the beach was basically empty, just some extremely friendly locals giving us sea shells :)

Just a little reading lamp would be nice ;)
