Very rustic and lovely location. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. First impression on entering was delightful . Location was perfect for our one night stay . Would have liked to stay longer to explore the area

Great location and easy to find. Good size room. Good selection for breakfast and very tasty.

Decor and bathroom fixtures outdated and in need of attention. Sink cracked, radiator hanging off wall in bedroom.

"Exceptional"

We recently stayed at Black Mountain Lodge in early April as a group of 5 families (18 people including 6 kids), and it was truly a fantastic experience. A big thank you to Sallu & team for their exceptional hospitality, managing such a large group is not easy, but they handled it effortlessly. The hot meals and English breakfast were excellent, and they thoughtfully catered to our varied Indian veg and non-veg preferences with great quality food for everyone. Rooms were clean and a special mention to Sallu for arranging a separate kitchen area with utensils and crockery — that really made a difference for our group. Overall, a very clean and welcoming place, and a perfect getaway if you’re planning hikes around Four Falls. Highly recommended!

"Very comfortable satay at this hotel."

Very well laid out. Easy to locate and very near HAY. Room was very nice and the bed was fantastic. We both slept well the 2 nights we stayed. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed a lot. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

This was the second time we visited. The room was exceptional, clean, and comfy. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend staying here and would love for the bar and restaurant to reopen, especially for the evenings

"Lovely stay"

I absolutely loved this property, it reminded me of a lovely ski lodge. Cosy rooms, small but very comfortable and huge walk in wardrobe space to put walking gear. Great location in the black mountains and nice breakfast.

The Breakfast area was a little cold
