El centro de la ciudad queda al otro lado del Río. Si bien no es un problema enorme, t obliga a coger un grab q de la vuelta o a volver antes de que cierren el puente peatonal a las 12 de la noche.

MYStaying at Merdeka Guesthouse 2 in Kuching was a highlight of my trip! The staff (shoutout to Pakcik Matnor!) are incredibly kind, generous, and welcoming, making me feel right at home with their helpful local advice and service. The facilities are impressively complete for a guesthouse, including a washing machine, refrigerator, water heater, iron and iron board, and even a small cooking area. Everything is kept exceptionally clean! I’d give it a 10/10 for cleanliness. Despite the budget-friendly price, the comfort levels are top-tier; with the peaceful village atmosphere and cozy rooms, it truly feels like a 5-star experience in terms of relaxation. It is outstanding value for money, often costing significantly less than the city average while providing better service. The location is also very strategic. Situated in a calm neighborhood across the river, it's just a quick, scenic RM1–RM2 boat ride away from the Kuching Waterfront and main city attractions. Thank you so much Merdeka Guesthouse! 🥳
