DEBeds were comfy, room was very nice though basic. The room had a fridge, a water heater and aircon plus fan. We liked living in the more rural area and the host is very friendly and helpful.
After 6 p.m. you can't get back by ferry, but walking is fine.. and a GRAB is quite cheap from the city centre.
USMerdeka guesthouse really was our favorite place to stay in my 10 years of a life of travel. Matnor was a awesome host. The house is close to Kuching waterfront. And situated in a nice quiet neighborhood.

De ligging midden in een kampong vond ik een bezwaar , aangezien er niets is . Overdag tot 18h oversteek naar het centrum per bootje . Daarna is het lang in het centrum blijven en een lange taxitocht terugnemen .
