Momotaro House

Clean and comfortable accommodation. The bed was medium to firm and comfortable. The bed also has mosquito netting. The bathroom is basic and functional, but very clean. The standard of cleanliness is almost Japanese throughout the house. There was a desk and chair to work on with many electrical points. Room had AC and ceiling fan, but the latter was sufficient in February. The room also had a balcony. Laundry facilities. The owners are an amazing family who can communicate in English, Hindi and Japanese.

We had a great experience at Momotaro House. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. When we came the host offered us excellent Japanese tea. It was so relaxing and quiet in the middle of intensity of travelling in India. The guesthouse was very clean, and mosquito nets were provided, also washing mashine was there. Apart from the rooms, and kitchen, there was an extra living room, with very large balkony, which created homely and cosy atmosphere. Arigatou🙏

Clean quiet and warm host

Amazing hosts. Very sweet family, which make you feel welcomed and help you in every possible way. Very clean rooms. There is kitchen with fridge you can use and washing machine.

A bit far from Bodhgaya center

The accommodation had bottled water, so you didn't have to carry it all the time.

There was no closet, but it might not have fit. Later it was no longer missing.

Everything was great particularly the very welcoming hosts. Kitchen is a great bonus.The room & bed very comfortable & clean.Hot water plentiful. I was sorry to have to move due to its popularity.

Some have commented it's a bit far from the main temple. It's certainly worth the extra effort & exercise.

Everything. I had to reluctantly leave after 2 nights due to its popularity during Dalai Llamas visit. Found a good alternative nearby. Hosts were great & kitchen was very handy for tea & coffee.

Having to leave earlier than hoped. Nothing about property was to dislike other than it being too good & therefore booked out at the time. Book early to be sure.
