Beautiful surroundings and accommodation. Tessa’s hospitality is superb!

Charming & intelligent hosts, Great location, large private studio & wonderful gardens & pool. Excellent value.

We loved our stay at Hillingdale. Our comfortable room with kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed (along with a generous gift of drinks in the fridge on our arrival); the small patio and lush garden were perfect for relaxing over morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evenings, and Tess and Steve were wonderful, warm and responsive hosts. We felt totally "at home". The place is very well located for all Cape Town adventures and we would definitely return. The photos don't do justice to the quiet, inviting nature of the property.

There was nothing we didn't like. And our only, very minor issue - a new and mildly buzzing fridge - was attended to immediately by Tess.

The property is in a beautiful and very safe and serene area. The apartment itself is gorgeous and feels like home, with the most beautiful garden.

We were warmly welcomed and checked up on regularly. The room felt private and the whole property is peaceful. The room was well equipped and comfortable, with enormous bed, kitchenette and lovely small patio. The garden provides a lovely view. Pool is spotlessly clean and great for a quick dip. Good connection to the M3 and a great southern suburb location. Amazing hospitality - selection of drinks and chocolates provided was a nice treat. Would recommend and would stay again!

The room was actually two lovely rooms, a beautiful bedroom and sitting room come small self-contained kitchen. It also had an outside patio and well-appointed bathroom.

It was perfect and the attention to detail was something that had taken great care in thinking of and putting in place.

Tranquil environment and setting, Tess and Steve were great hosts who made us feel welcomed and comfortable, taking seriously our minor requests. I appreciated the garden and the ability to pick our own herbs. Was a unique touch.

The pool wasn't well maintained as expected and I had to clean it myself and request more attention to it. The room was a little smaller than expected and there were mismatches from what booking.com described in the facilities. But we made it work in the end.

We had a fantastic time. Our hosts did their utter best to make our stay comfortable. We loved the relaxing garden and the central location. Ofcourse the room itself was also fantastic.

Clean, neat and everything is available that you'd possibly need, including the complimentary treats. The owners have thought about everything. Friendly, personal service from Tessa and Steve was appreciated. Will definitely become our future accommodation of choice.
