Nooitgedacht Town Lodge

The bed and bedding was exceptionally comfortable. The location is superb, close to all restaurants.

The bathroom door was broken and couldn't close. The wifi signal was very poor and we had to use mobile data. We looked forward to braai but a roster wasn't provided so we had to eat at a restaurant. We parked in the spot where the host indicated but another guest came knocking at out door while sleeping to move our car for them to get out.

Dirty! The bathroom light reported on previous reviews still not working. The apartment was not cleaned before our arrival, although the bed linen was clean. Broken tiles, dirty toilet, no coffee in room, only a few tea sachets. Curtains came off rails, kitchen tap broken, extension leads running across floor. The door is a bad spray job and outsiders can see in. Only 4 guest towels, no big towels. Tiles broken. Highly overcharged and a trap for tired travellers.

Room was clean and tidy.

Bed was very uncomfortable.

The room was absolutely beautifully decorated, and the room was so spacious and comfy, and I really felt so at home in this room. I was comfortable the whole time. The bed was so so comfortable and so big, I had the best sleep probably ever. The room was definitely true to the pictures, and bigger than in the photo, so definitely exceeded expectations 😁 and yes, the room has an Air-conditioning unit as Colesburg is very warm over the summer time so it definitely made a big difference.

The bathroom light did not work, so I had to shower using my phone’s flashlight. The bathroom door did not close properly, and the shower caused the entire bathroom to get wet. The bed was very squeaky. The door in our bedroom appeared to connect to the neighbouring room, which resulted in a lot of noise. Parking was also a problem.
