This place is exactly what you need! It has breakfast included, has a self service kitchen where you can make tea and coffee whenever you like, rooms are a great size, has a washing machine and wifi and hot water always available! Tholal’s snorkelling trips were breathtaking, I wouldn’t be the best swimmer but they were all amazing. I’m sure there are other tour companies running the same trips as Tholal but as it is a small boat, you have a much more personal trip with less people shoving you to get the best videos. Just you, 3/4 other people and the animals! I honestly stopped worrying about taking footage as Tholal takes the best videos and is always happy to share! I couldn’t recommend enough!

You found the best place in the island!! If you want unforgettable memories, a 10/10 hotel and an amazing host you are in the right place. The room is super clean, comfortable and spacious. The hot water works perfectly, you get breakfast, free laundry and free masks and fins to snorkel. Plus, the location is superb. Right in the main road, super close to the best restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the bikini beach. The best of it all is the host, Tholal. This is our second time staying with him. We came back 5 years later and nothing has changed. He really cares about his guests and wants them to have the best time. YOU HAVE TO DO THE TOURS WITH HIM. He has his own boat and the excursions are super private. We were 4 the whole time. Thanks to him we saw whale sharks, swam with mantas just the 4 of us for 1 hour, took us to a beautiful sandbank (we had it all to ourselves), swam with turtles, snorkeled in gorgeous coral gardens, went fishing…we loved every single trip we did with him. Plus he takes amazing underwater videos and shares them for free. The most valuable thing for us was the fact that the tours are so private. He stays away from the crowded spots and this makes the experience so much better and respectful to the marine life. We would also like to say thank you to his wife who prepared delicious Maldivian food on our last night. They are a kind, friendly and lovely family. We consider Tholal a friend and we hope to see him again. Thank you!!

There is also space to hang wet clothes, which is very convenient after snorkeling or swimming, and the hotel offers snorkeling masks and fins for guests. In addition, the owner of the hotel, Tholal, offers an outstanding excursion service. He took us to see all the animals we hoped for, and in almost every case we were the only group on the excursion (we were a group of four people). During the trips we were lucky to see a whale shark, turtles, manta rays on two occasions, sharks, and beautiful coral reefs full of life. We also visited a sandbank and went fishing with local fishermen. Tholal knows exactly where to find marine life without crowds, allowing us to enjoy nature in a very respectful way and with complete privacy for our group. Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay and to ho on boat excursions in Dhangethi, all at a very reasonable price. Tholal and his family treated us incredibly well, and the overall experience was truly unforgettable.

Die Unterkunft entspricht den Abbildungen auf den Fotos und hat ein wirklich gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Das Personal ist ebenfalls super freundlich und absolut hilfsbereit. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine frische Kokosnuss. Wir konnten uns jeden Tag aussuchen wann wir frühstücken, Transfefbuchung wurde erledigt und Wasser stand uns immer zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage - liegt aber sehr nah an der Moschee. Der Gebetsruf ertönt über Lautsprecher auch gegen 4:45 Uhr in der Nacht und wir sind jedesmal aufgewacht. Die Kultur gehört auf einer Local Insel immer dazu, jedoch sollte es jeder bei einer Buchung berücksichtigen. Leider haben wir nicht so gute Erfahrungen mit unserem Schnorchelausflüg gemacht, was aber die Bewertung bei Booking nicht mindern soll. Passt einfach auf die Wetterlage auf, trotz unserer Erfahrung konnten wir aber einen Walhai sehen. Wir würden die Unterkunft immer wieder weiterempfehlen oder auch selbst buchen.

Location is perfect and Achmed is a great host. Breakfast is okay and there is plenty of coffee, tea and cakes. The excursions provided by Achmed are amazing and the video’s are all included. We had a perfect week.

The rooms are fine and equiped with all kinds off sanitary Materials; like shampoos, crème and Deet against mosquitos.

De lokatie alles op loopafstand, vrije toegang en gebruik van keuken met koffie/thee/water en cake. De kamer is voorzien van toiletartikelen en deet. Dagelijks schone handdoeken.
