Great price/value ratio! Comfortable room with A/C and hot water. Super cozy beach without people just in front of the hotel. Still very easy to get to Weligama center (20 min walk by the seashore or 3 min by tuk-tuk). Great and friendly staff, that gives enough attention to every guest and always ready to help. Initially we intended to stay for 1 week, but prolonged our stay for an extra week and enjoyed every day of our vacation:)

Wi-fi was not working in the room, but we got local sim-cards in the airport so we didn't need it. Also would be great to add some shower gels and shampoos to the room :)

Relax Beach Resort is one of the best hotels I have ever been to! Hotel: Very clean and modern. It's freshly built and we were the first guests staying in our rooms. Rooms are clean and nicely designed and every room has a beautiful ocean view. The people working here put in a really lot of love and energy, which makes this place very lovely. Food: Every day you get only fresh food from local (not touristic) market. It's very tasty, fresh, and healthy. Breakfast is until 11:30. Good and variable menu. They even cook fresh soups, if you want, and have a good choice of dishes. Service: Great service, very helpful team, and owner. Roshan (the owner) organized good tours for the fairest prices and shows really amazing things, you won't be able to see with other guides. The tour car is comfortable and big. You can also rent your own tuc-tuc in the hotel. Also, there is a small surf school with its own surfboards in the hotel. Roshan organized a beautiful Bonfire on the beach at night, with music and singing. It was amazing! Environment: Roshan is the only local, that heavily supports plastic/waist reduction. He uses wooden furniture instead of plastic, as an example. He also fights for clean beaches and recycling and thanks to his efforts, the garbage collection in Weligama developed a lot. He supported me very well and helped me when I needed it. I recommend this place because it's a developed hotel with great service and lovely and helpful people with respect for their guests and environment.
