Relax Beach Resort

Amazing beachfront rooms, could wake up in the morning and go for a swim along the beach! Good morning breakfasts. Lovely hosts, that looked after all our needs. Nice local restaurant in the hotel, and also another one nearby. The owner was a tour guide and knew a lot about Sri Lanka. Also very genuine and trustworthy. They also rented out surf boards at a good rate, and was very handy because there were some small rideable waves right in front of the hotel - perfect for a long board. The beach area in front of the hotel was perfect for small children to play in also.

The outdoor lights for the balcony were a bit bright , but the friendly staff switched them off for us and we had the right level of ambience

- Beautifully landscaped garden facing the beach - Beach virtually private beach with loungers - Clean room - nice personel - the accommodation is a bit quieter, in Weligama itself there is a lot going on on the beach and there are higher waves, so there are a lot of surfers in the water, here in the beach resort it is much quieter, therefore much more suitable for families with small children than directly on the beach

- Clean and good hotel room for Sri Lanka, but not comparable with European rooms, despite the very high price for Sri Lanka of ~70€ per night - Officially it was breakfast from 8 a.m., but despite announcing the day before that we wanted to have breakfast as early as possible, we had to wait until 9 a.m.... that was a bit annoying because of the time wasted - We were initially told that after 3 days the room would be cleaned, the towels changed, fresh water etc. brought, but this did not happen. Without the announcement, this wouldn't have bothered us any further. -We had booked with breakfast and when we wanted water at breakfast we were charged extra for the bottle, which we found a bit unreasonable

Perfect Location right at the beachfront. Not too busy area in between Weligama downtown and Mirissa. Some very good foodplaces in walking distance. You can rent a surfboard if you want. We stayed even one Night longer than planned because of the relaxed atmosphere. They serve Sri Lankan and English Breakfast. The owner offered us a fresh fish at the evening for dinner, which was great.

The pillow smelled a little weired, like it got wet before. The dogs around were very loud, barking at the Nightime. Beside this everything was fine.

Amazing location directly by the beach. Very calm, clean with a beautiful view over the sea. You feel private at the beach. It’s located between very busy Weligama and Mirissa. So it’s the perfect hide out. The staff is amazing, very nice, friendly and especially open for families since it’s family owned. They prepare really good food and drinks, they do bbqs and bonfires. They even had baby turtles when we stayed there. They are very protective of the environment and make sure that everything is well taken care of. It’s just perfect if you love a good beach holiday close to the city. And it’s very good for surfing!

right by beach, very calm, surfing for kids nearby, perfect for chilling. lounges under shade and on the beach. amaaazing waves.

all was amazing, perhaps dogs around…we love dogs but a bit too many. make sure to keep trainers inside room. they like those.
