Relax Beach Resort

Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice pretty garden and lovely beach view.

I expected yoga classes as advertised and location was abit too far from town. I also did not realise it did not have swimming pool.

fantastic beach front location. all rooms have balcony's facing sea. located at quieter end of bay away from the big Marriot. only 10 mins or £1ish in a tuk tuk to Mirrisa which is worth going to too. lots of opportunities to get surf lessons and hire boards all along Weligama beach which is perfect for beginners. 2 miles or a cheap tuk tuk ride to Weligama town centre too which seemed like a backpackers destination with very cheap (and good) eating places.

nothing bad really. was a bit perturbed when a 3m crocodile swam past just after we came out of the sea!

Location is just perfect. Big rooms. Good facilities inside the room.

Roshan was a Great host. Good location. Food was good

The owner Roshan and his staff went out their way to make our stay great as they did for all the visitors booked in.I asked if he could arrange a fridge for our room and that I would gladly pay extra for it.Roshan went out and brought a new fridge for us and refuse to charge anything extra well done on customer service.

We were really happy with our stay. The staff was very helpful, breakfast was good. Beach was very calm and relaxing.

Fabulous hotel directly on the beach inbetween Welligama and Mirrissa, perfect for being close to the towns but staying somewhere calmer. Room felt newly refurbished, big bed, clean, hot water in the shower, balcony with sea view. Staff were very helpful, they welcomed you into the family. Sun beds and parasol on the beach for you to use and the hotel bar if you want a drink while sat there. Restaurants close by you can walk to or take a Tuktuk into town. Easy check in and out. Would 100% recommend.

This place is a gem. Located just outside the bustling city center in a quiet neighborhood, it offers a peaceful retreat. Restaurants are just a short walk away. The beachfront location is unbeatable: Watching the sunsets over Weligama Bay was truly magical. There's a bar, restaurant, and surf rental right on the beach. You can even take surf lessons. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The best part: The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommended! If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation, this is the place to be.

Our recent stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, a big disappointment. We visited in the off-season, and it seemed that they weren’t prepared to welcome guests, which was surprising since we had booked well in advance. First and foremost, the beach in front of the hotel was a letdown. It was littered with trash to the extent that it was impossible to enjoy. What baffled us most was that the hotel staff didn’t make an effort to clean up the area. We ended up having to leave the hotel and go elsewhere to enjoy the beach, which really defeats the purpose of staying at a beachside hotel. The staff, while polite, seemed very inexperienced and untrained. We had to repeat orders multiple times because they either forgot or didn’t understand the requests, which became frustrating. It felt like the staff were not professionals, which impacted the overall service and hospitality.
