The Sandaig

Good communication from owners. Bedroom and bathroom both a good size. Central areas well decorated and presented. Complimentary sherry and shortbread biscuits a nice touch.

The room was tired with several lights not working, shower door damaged making it difficult to open, room door banging in the wind, sharp edge on bathroom floor covering.

The tappit hen was a very welcoming touch. This was not a part of Edinburgh I previously knew despite having previously lived in the city. I had a lovely evening meal at the Bijou Bistro and the location was very convenient for the airport tram.

The only tiny niggle was that the shower pressure was a bit weak

Size of room. Location. Comfortable bed.

Little storage for clothes- no decent drawers, a pile for a wardrobe. No mirror in the bedroom for drying hair. Only one water glass. Small towels. Not carpet in the bedroom. If making tea without a teapot, mugs are needed . The photos show fabulous bedrooms, sadly ours wasn't one but I did request a ground floor room so maybe that's the trade off. Also, not a fan of the anonymous check-in and out.

Check-in war sehr einfach und flexibel (man muss aber Bescheid geben, wenn man nicht zu den Öffnungszeiten kommt!), die Betten sehr bequem und auch die Lage, wenn man als Tourist in der Stadt ist, voll in Ordnung. Nachts sehr ruhig und auch wenn man denkt, dass man für den Besuch der Stadt etwas abseits wohnt, ist man sehr gut an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel angebunden und schnell im Zentrum.

Eigentlich nichts erwähnenswertes.

El ambiente, el personal, el edificio

La ducha y la temperatura de la ducha. Es dificil de regular y un poco incómoda, mas que nada para personas muy altas. Me toco la habitación del último piso y es por escalera pero para mi no fue molestia
