Our stay at Fairhaven was excellent in every respect. The evening meal offered on the Friday evening was exceptional and really good value as were the breakfasts on both mornings. What really makes this place stand out is the friendly welcome and care for the guests given by the owners.We will definitely return to Fairhaven.

Fantastic hosts: kind; accommodating; passionate; and knowledgeable. Immediately welcoming, a home from home. Bedroom and en suite clean, wonderfully comfortable and traditional yet modern. The guest lounge in the evening and breakfast room in the morning were fantastic. So much choice and lovely ingredients at breakfast. Delicious coffee! Well-stocked hospitality tray and lovely in-room toiletries. Wonderful and beautiful location, fantastic walks.

"A beautiful Guest House on The York Moors"

The hosts were very welcoming. The guest house was delightful. Lovely to sit by a log fire and enjoy a pre dinner drink. We had the winter warmer dinner. Home made and delicious. A wonderful place to stay to enjoy the York Moors and The Steam Railway at Grosmont.
