Scotia House - Beautifully Presented Accommodation

Great central location, lovely clean room. Nice touches like toiletries, hot water bottles, robes.

Beautifully presented, friendly reception on arrival. The room was so well presented & thoughtful extras. This has to be one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Cleanliness was exceptional!

Nothing it was perfect!

The host was very friendly and helpful, and sorted out some parking cards for the days I was there. He also accommodated an early check-in, which was very much appreciated :). Overall the room had everything you need and was spotless.

The bed was a bit soft for me as I prefer a harder mattress, but was comfortable enough for a couple of nights.

The accommodation is, as it says, beautifully presented and we loved it. The king-size bed was very comfortable and everywhere was exceptionally tidy and clean. Our host was very affable and gave us some tips on where to eat (although, being Valentine's Day almost everywhere was fully booked). We will definitely stay here again if we go to Harrogate again.

The only negative was that the weather was particularly cold at the time and when we got to our room at about 3pm, we found it very chilly with the radiators not being on. Strange thing was, when I got up to go to the loo about 5am, the heating was on! Maybe the timer needs adjusting? 😂

I had the best nights' sleep! It was so cosy and quiet. So many lovely extra touches to make it feel like home from home. Thank you so much - I will be back next month when I am in Harrogate!

As a solo traveller I don't like to go out in the evening and would have liked to picnic in my room. No external food or drink is permitted without permission and unfortunately there was no-one to ask. Instead I made use of the chairs outside whilst eating, though it was a bit chilly. (I can appreciate the reason for the rules and it was just unexpected.)
