Everything. It was super clean throughout. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Michael was very helpful, advising us to use the bus or train to Knaresborough rather than taking the car, telling us to let him know if we needed anything extra and just generally very chatty with everyone. He took a keen interest in all the guests, making them feel special. So lovely to get such brilliant customer service. We didn’t see much of his wife Denys but when we did she was just the same. We will definitely return in the warmer weather.

The wonderfully cheerful and warm welcome from Denys and Mick was a brilliant start. Our room was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. There was even a very comfortable living room - opposite the dining room - with a huge tv which the guests could use. The choice for breakfast was so good and the cooked breakfast was really tasty and cooked to perfection.

Nothing could have been done any better.

"Wonderful relaxing place to stay and was close to everything."

Excellent Breakfast, lovely room, quiet, extremely helpful, and attentive owners who couldn't do enough for us. parking was easy with the guest house providing tickets to cover the whole stay.
