Det var meget smukt og fredfyldt. Et lille hotel med exceptionel venlig personale. Morgenmaden fik vi serveret på terrassen med lokale råvarer og den skønneste udsigt.

Das war ein ganz besonderes Hotel, wir fühlten uns wie VIP's. Das gewählte Zimmer hatte einen phantastischen Blick, das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe individuell zubereitet. Für den Pool war es etwas kalt, aber im Sommer ist der bestimmt traumhaft. Der Weg hinunter in die Stadt ist bei normaler köperlicher Fitness machbar. Wir waren zuvor auf Andros und Tinos, auf Syros hat es uns am Besten gefallen.

Es ist keine Kritik, nur eine Feststellung: wir waren überrascht über die Geräusche der Hühner bzw./ Hähne und Hundegebell eines nahegelegenden Hofes. Man hört auch die Strasse, die ziemlich bergauf geht. Aber nachts fährt dort eigendlich niemand.

Stunning views, fantastic staff, wonderful breakfast, and a beautiful island with a busy port town and an interesting history. You have an incredible view from historic Ano Syros but you can walk down to Ermoupoli in about 20 minutes and a taxi back up the hill is under €10. If you are planning to stay on Syros, Wind Tales should be your top choice.

The staff are incredibly helpful. We essentially followed all of their recommendations for where to eat and where to visit and we had the best time. We also thought the breakfasts were delicious!
