Alexis, Tania, and Dimitris were all amazing. They made us feel incredibly welcome and did all they could to make our stay amazing. The daily home cooked breakfast was so fresh and delicious! I'd recommend Wind Tales to anyone visiting Syros!

Delightful accomodation in splendid location inside the medieval village of Ano Syros, on top of the hill overlooking the splendid bay of Ermoupolis. My room was literally built in the rocks of the mountain, spacious and very tasteful in every small detail (including the homemade limoncello in the fridge!) like the rest of the guesthouse. You can easily reach it by car, with free parking right outside the village's walls, a few steps away. The owner, Mr Alexis, is a very gracious host, giving the best suggestions for the visit of the village and of the Island. The breakfast, served on my case on a small shady terrace with the most perfect view of the bay, is personalized and made with local products and homemade jams: a real treat. I totally enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose it again for another stay.

Das war ein ganz besonderes Hotel, wir fühlten uns wie VIP's. Das gewählte Zimmer hatte einen phantastischen Blick, das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe individuell zubereitet. Für den Pool war es etwas kalt, aber im Sommer ist der bestimmt traumhaft. Der Weg hinunter in die Stadt ist bei normaler köperlicher Fitness machbar. Wir waren zuvor auf Andros und Tinos, auf Syros hat es uns am Besten gefallen.

Es ist keine Kritik, nur eine Feststellung: wir waren überrascht über die Geräusche der Hühner bzw./ Hähne und Hundegebell eines nahegelegenden Hofes. Man hört auch die Strasse, die ziemlich bergauf geht. Aber nachts fährt dort eigendlich niemand.
