Good location, fair price

Tiny room, poor insulation, club right downstairs very noisy till 3am

L’emplacement est parfait. Dans une ruelle un peu calme en dessous de la main road il y a un pub en bas mais personnellement nous n’avons pas était dérangé

Le bâtiment est un peu vétuste et la chambre dans son jus mais la literie est très bonne et ça suffit pour quelques jours

Location, though under a bridge and frankly not a great approach for a single woman after dark given the rowdiness of the patrons in the bar downstairs, was very central and close to a multitude of bars and restaurants. It was clean and felt reasonably secure for its situation, even if in the morning I found the front door was left ajar.

Room is very small, above a bar and therefore noisy til the very early hours - they even provide you with earplugs (helpfully and thoughtfully). Unfortunately, I found this room a tad overpriced - yet I suppose the market decides that aspect of things and maybe this is a good price in Edinburgh which seems to be quite expensive overall. General cleanliness was ok but the bathroom was so tiny, I, a normally built 167cm tall person could hardly fit in the shower. If my husband were there he would have had to shower with the shower door open. In fact, two people would not have been able to move around freely in this room. Sadly, though, this is a reflection of most heritage buildings in the UK. Simply inadequate for today's living. As a last resort, this product definitely does what it says on the tin even if it comes with a few compromises.
