A lovely, homely place to stay. Clean, and comfortable, with a lovely full English breakfast. Located conveniently for Kettering Station, bus connections to surrounding villages, St. Mary’s Hospital, Wicksteed Park and close to A14 junctions. Mrs. McQuade was very kind and accommodating and you feel very well looked after. Price is very reasonable, especially given the very generously portioned breakfast. A charming little traditional English B&B that would suit business, solo travellers or families.

I have absolutely no criticism. It was charming.

Just stayed one night, had the downstairs room in the annexe. It was clean, very quiet and comfortable. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and served a tasty cooked breakfast which we pre-ordered the day before to speed things up in the morning.

I liked the warm welcome from both mother and daughter. Ms M at her age is very warm and welcoming and graceful. There was history within the property and I liked the Scottish heritage.

The electrical sockets could be updated to have UBS ports.

I was warmly greeted by my host before being shown my generous sized room with ensuite. My bed was extremely comfortable and all facilities were clean. My hosts provided a generous breakfast to my taste and stepped in to tidy my room while I'll was out (with my knowledge). Overall my stay was in a word exceptional and I would definitely book this hotel again when I'm next in the area. Bonus: very close to the train station
