Starfish Cabbana

Die Lage des Homestays war perfekt . Leicht außerhalb uns ruhig gelegen , aber so, dass man zu Fuß in den Ort gehen konnte. Der Garten war wunderschön und der junge und sehr nette Besitzer hat uns den Garten gezeigt und morgens ein tolles Frühstück gezaubert. Die Zimmer werden nach und nach mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet. Es gab eine Hängatte zum chillen im Garten und eine tolle Aufenthaltsterrasse, die zum Spielen einlädt. Wir empfehlen dieses homestay wärmstens. Auch Reisetips werden ganz unaufdringlich gegeben und gegebenfalls Touren per Tuktuk usw. organisiert. Wichtig: Surfbretthalter sind vorhanden ( ; Unser Zimmer war super sauber und mit Bad und großem Spiegel ausgestattet. Das Bett war groß und mit Mosquito Netz ausgestattet. Der Raum war hell und groß. Danke für die tolle Zeit.

Stylish wood and concrete minimalist but spacious huts. Desk and a hammock. Lush garden. Amazing host Tari, who would take me for a trip to the forest to see some wild animals. Great location just outside dunes and the bay.

We would’ve loved it to extend our stay here. This place has everything you need and is located a bit outside of the city - so quiet in the night, it the monkeys don’t come around - still everything in walking distance and a small supermarket 3 mins walk away. The owner made this stay unforgettable with self cooked fish curry and an adventure through the Nationalpark. You can tell he grew up in this area, he knows some nice locations. Wir fanden es super und können es nur empfehlen! Die Cabanas und die ganze Unterkunft sind super schön gestaltet! Es gibt eine Küche und einen Gemeinschaftsbereich draußen. Der Host war total lieb und offen:) Er hat einen Ausflug mit uns zu der Monastery gemacht bei der wir Elefenanten und Krokodile gesehen haben. Es war ein super Tag, genau so wie unser gesamter Aufenthalt bei ihm. Es ist nur wenige Meter zu laufen bis zum Meer und dank des großen Ventilators war es nachts auch nicht zu warm in der Hütte. Wir können es wirklich nur empfehlen! Es war toll;)

La chambre était propre et calme. L'hôte est vraiment au petit soin et nous a procuré un scooter à un bon prix.

La chambre a une petite odeur d'humidité constante. Pas de climatisation juste un ventilateur au plafond.

The place itself, very nice surroundings, many plants, we had a great WiFi and AC, host is extremely kind and helpful !

Only cold water but at this temperature outside it was okay to take a cold shower

El alojamiento se encuentra en el centro de Arugam bay, al lado de las playas y de los restaurantes. Es un lugar muy tranquilo. La habitación y el baño privado tenían todo lo necesario. Su propietario nos ayudó con el alquiler de la moto y también con la lavandería.

TARI, le manager a été d'une grande aide, attentif lors de la montée pour le temple de Kudumbigala, m'a conduit, lui en moto et moi en scooter à travers des paysages spectaculaires, nous avons acheté poisson et légumes et cuisiné un excellent diner la veille de mon départ, très disponible, a été le principal atout de mon séjour au Starfish Cabana, le manque de climatisation et d'eau chaude (indiqué dans la description) nuits chaudes malgré le ventilateur, font de ce guest house une adresse peut être un peu chère pour la saison off.... mais Tari m'a confirmé que la clim allait être installée prochainement.... belle petite terrasse vue sur un jardin soigné ... grâce à Tari un sejour agréable, merci à lui pour sa gentillesse.
