Basheer and his wife fixed everything well. Very good spot. Quiet, nice rooms, terrace and bathroom!

Аругам Бэй посещаем при каждой поездке на Шри-Ланку. Деревня превратилась в курортное место. Локацию отеля в этот раз выбирали, чтобы было тихо, комфортно и чтобы рядом пляж, кафе, магазины, но и по бюджету нормально. Центр для нас достаточно шумный. Выбрали Aqua blue и не ошиблись. Управляющий отелем Баши все рассказал и показал, очень дружелюбный, грамотный человек. Ответит на любой вопрос по отдыху, даст хороший совет. Серфинг, сафари, такси до Дамбулы организовывали через него, цены очень даже нас устроили. Завтраки в отеле очень даже разнообразные и вкусные. Если серфинг для новичков, выбирайте точку Elephant rock-отличный вариант. Если еще раз доведется быть в Аругам Бэй, то остановлюсь в Aqua blue. Спасибо тебе, Баши

Aqua Blue is a perfect location for your holiday in Arugam Bay :) It is located at the end of the village, for us it was a big advantage. The place was quite, very green with a lot of birds in the garden and occasionally even monkeys. The host Basheer was the nicest person we met in Sri Lanka! He was very friendly and helpfull, it was a real pleasure. After spending there the 5 days we booked at the beginning we decided to come back later for another week. You get a choice of breakfast from the menu every day (the best one is the shakshuka!) with also very good coffee. Any time during the day you can order juices, coffee, fruits and other food you might want. You can eat in in the restaurant or on the balcony of your room. I am gluten free and it was no problem to make tost from my own bread for breakfast. The room has everything you might need: a nice balcony with a hammock, lounge chair and space to dry your clothes/towels. A very comfortable bed with a mosquito net, good air conditioning and fan, a fridge, some storage space and a nice bathroom with hot water (if you need it). Basheer can recommend also a very nice surfing instructor, a scooter or tuktuk to rent, transport and any service you might need just ask him and he will help you :) There is also a generation in case of power cut or blackout. Also Aqua Blue is close to the nice, quiet part of the beach and just 5 minutes walk from the sunset point at the lagoon. Highly recommend!

It's a nice place to stay. Owner very friendly, breakfast was good. Arranged the mangrove tour which was nice.

Es war sehr sauber, sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir waren 4 Tage, nach 2 Tagen wurde das Zimmer gereinigt. Toller Balkon, Bett, Moskitonetz und Klima. Basheer ist extrem hilfsbereit und man merkt, dass er für seine Unterkunft lebt.

The location and the rooms were great.

Unfortunately the breakfast was quite disappointing. Not even the Sri Lankan breakfast was good 🫤
