Eastwind Surf Camp - Surf & Stay

Staying at East Wind was great. Location is very close to town but far enough to be hidden from noice.

Best place to go in Arugam Bay!!! awesome good vibes, Alan is a great host and everybody at the hostel is friendly and helpful. We came for 3 days and stayed for 10. Will definetely come here everytime I'm in Arugan Bay. This place was the highlight of my trip 💛

The atmosphere at this place was just so good. Plus Allan, the owner of the hostel, always helped me if I needed to sort out some things. Moreover, the location couldn’t be better. Two minutes walking and you are at the beach where everything is happening. But still far away that you can sleep like a baby! Absolutely loved it here, and even came back here.

The staff was really great, very good vibes, delicious food at the cafe in the camp. Very close to the beach. Inspiring yoga classes by a teacher with extraordinary karma.

Great place for solo traveler! I checked in for a few nights and found there loads of friendly faces, the owner including! He helps out with everything - I had to move when my ribs were hurting and Alan was so kind that he got me a tuktuk driver for free to move my bag and surfboard to my other hostel. All amenities are very basic, but ok for the price! The only thing I missed was a bit more equipped kitchen - at least with a fridge.

Great value for this price. The location is really nice (only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants) and the owner is very kind and helps you out with everything. Definitely recommended!

The staff is amazing and great location

The fan is not good strong so it gets pretty hot :(
