,Excellent food, beautiful and tranquil location within easy reach of many attractions , exceptional staff and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in.

Nothing they could do about but the room was very hot , we did go during heat wave, there where fans but I was so hot ! Breakfast was very good , all staff very friendly

Rooms very clean, helpful staff. Great to have restaurant to eat in

The room is above entrance to pub where people were drinking and talking as we had the only window to the room open for ventilation. Luckily the talking stopped around 11.30pm.

Breakfast was good choices were adequate, some attention to detail was lacking,ie butter and sauces on table would be good, eggs and bacon slightly overdone . On the whole good produce was there. The room was perfect the staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meals were amazing,loved the whole ambience.

More attention to detail, on the breakfast table,which included cereals, juice,and other condiments. This is a constructive view more than a criticism .

On arrival, and before dinner, the (fairly small) team of staff did everything they could to make us comfortable and iron out a couple of issues with rooms (the windows were stuck shut and it was a very hot day), and to accommodate us for dinner, including our dietary requirements. They were brilliant and friendly. The rooms are very nicely designed and furnished, beds very comfortable and all the details (tea, coffee, biscuits, toiletries, fans in room, bottled water, etc.) provided and thoughtfully done.

Kitchen service is slow at both dinner and breakfast. There were a few issues with breakfast service, which could have been better handled, and the cold options consisted only of a few sugary cereals and some juice. Cooked options were nice and perfectly cooked but there was no brown bread for toast.
