Absolutely amazing hosts and owners, super nice and welcoming, great breakfast and the location is dreamy, the nicest view to wake up to, I extended several times!! They also offer everything you need from tours to pickups and everything in between.

Good but little remonteista location by the river which was cool to swim. Bungalow was clean and nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. .

Road was in horrible condition.

Best place to stay in Bukit Lawang!! Beautiful location right on the river, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, a retreat from the busy-ness of town. It is only a short motorbike ride into town, and you can walk ~10 mins to get to an alfamart/indomaret. I did 2 days jungle trekking with Andi who was a great guide. We saw lots of orangutans and other wildlife, and he shared a lot of great information about the jungle. I went with a group and he was very attentive with the guests and everyone's different needs and comfort levels with the hiking. Dika, Dedek, and the rest of the family were so friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything, and make an amazing breakfast which is included. Andi arranged a car to and from the airport. Wifi was functional most of the time, which was helpful because I spent a lot of time working remotely in the restaurant. Bed in my room was very firm and comfortable, which is important to note because some different guesthouses where I've stayed have had very squishy, sinking beds. Bathroom has good showerhead water pressure, a western style toilet, and bidet. They provide toilet paper if needed. Towels also provided. Screens on windows prevent mosquitos from getting inside, and there is a fan inside the room for when it gets hot. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and a family business that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

C'était ma deuxième dans cet hôtel. Quand j'ai plannifier mon deuxième séjour à Bukit Lawang il était évident pour moi de réserver une nouvelle fois ici. C'est un hôtel familial et les propriétaires sont vraiment à l'écoute des besoins des clients. L'emplacement ce trouve à l'écart du bruit de la ville au bord de la rivière. C'est un bel endroit reposant. Vous pouvez avoir la chance d'apercevoir des familles de singe car vous êtes entouré de nature. A 10/15 minutes à pieds vous trouverez commerces et restaurants. Concernant la chambre, c'était très bien. Le lit est confortable. Et il est agréable de se reposer sur le balcon face à la rivière. L'hôtel dispose d'un restaurant. La nourriture est très bonne et copieuse. Le rapport qualité prix est parfait. Le trek dans la jungle était vraiment fantastique. J'ai pu apprendre de nombreuses choses sur cet endroit et voir beaucoup d'orang outan. Merci à Andy, notre guide qui a su rendre ce moment très agréable. Je conseille cet hôtel qui a été le meilleur que nous avons reservé sur Sumatra. Le rapport qualité prix est à la hauteur de nos attentes Encore merci pour votre accueil chaleureux. J'espère pouvoir revenir ici pour faire découvrir ce merveilleux endroit à mes amis.

Je n'ai pas de point négatif à donner car à chaque fois que nous avions une demande ou un besoin, le personnel de l'hôtel faisait tout pour rendre notre séjour parfait dans les meilleurs delais

Chambre superbe face à la rivière, possibilité de se baigner. Le village est à 8 minutes à pied, restaurant à proximité, on mange très bien. Petit déjeuné à l’hôtel avec café ou thé. Le wifi fonctionne très bien! La chambre est confortable, avec un ventilateur car il fait chaud. Serviette de bain à disposition. Les hôtes sont très gentils, serviables et toujours à votre disposition. Ils organisent des treks dans la jungle, excursion avec les éléphants, réservation de taxi, etc.

Das Essen, dass uns die vom Dorf gerufene Ibu gemacht hat war richtig gut!

Es geht uns nicht darum etwas schlecht zu reden aber wir wollen hier ganz klar aufzeigen, dass man sich von der Bewertung auf booking.com nicht täuschen lassen soll. Es war leider unsere mit Abstand schlechteste Unterkunft während unserer 4 Wochen in Indonesien. Wir reisen oft nach Indo, ich habe selbst 5 Jahre in Indo gelebt (kenne also auch sehr günstige und einfache Unterkünfte). Folgendes gibt es zu beachten: Die Betten sind wirklich sehr schlecht - billig gekauft (die Unterkunft ist nach eigenen Angaben erst 2 Jahre alt) und man merkt jede Bewegung des Partners. Die Fesern sind jetzt schon gut zu spüren. Die Bettdecken waren sehr fleckig (braune und gelbe Flecken, leider keine Fotos weil ich’s wohl nicht wahrhaben wollte). Das Badezimmer war einfach schmutzig und die Dusche hat sehr nach Urin gerochen. Keine Fenster und niedriges Dach - da lüftet nichts und es schimmelt gut. Die Handtücher auch leider sehr billig, bedeutet reines polyester, abtrocknen schwer möglich. Direkt hinter den Bungalows fahren den ganzen Tag Motorbikes lang um vom Ort zur Ölpantage zu kommen. Nachts ist es ruhig aber um ca 5 Uhr geht’s dann schon los. Der letzte Punkt könnte eigentlich egal sein, mir ist es nur aufgefallen. Die beiden Jungen Männer, die wohl vor Ort verantwortlich sind haben jeweils links und rechts im Bungalow der jungen Touristinnen geschlafen. Ganz ehrlich - wirklich JEDE/R wie er sie möchte. Für mich hatte es nur einen strangen Vibe. Für nur 100.000 mehr pro Nacht bekommt man in andere Unterkünften wirklich eine schönere Erfahrung!

The host is super friendly and always willing to help. Plus, the guesthouse is located right by the river/stream, so you can enjoy great, peaceful view without any disturbances.

The guesthouse is pretty far from everything. You have to walk at least 15-20 minutes to go pick up some groceries or to dine at a restaurant.(The guesthouse has its own restaurant, so if you choose to eat there, then it might not be a problem.)
