Beddington Park Lodge East

Habitación de mucha calidad-precio. Para unos cuantos días muy recomendada a pesar de la distancia. Aún así, tiene buena conexión con el centro de la ciudad, con una parada de bus justo al salir de la casa. Christof nos ayudó con varias dudas que tenía y el "security guard" Leonardo fue muy amable y servicial en todo momento.

La ubicación un poco alejada del centro de la ciudad (1h:15 más menos).

Eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo: più che di una struttura si tratta di una vera "casa", dove ci siamo sentite perfettamente nostro agio, io e mi figlia quattordicenne. Così ti fa sentire Christoff, il proprietario, persona squisita, disponibilissima e veloce nel rispondere alle richieste, generoso in ciò che mette a disposizione (abbiamo chiesto degli asciugamenti e un phon, non previsti, che ci ha immediatamente fornito). Soprattutto Christoff ci ha dato ottime indicazioni su come muoverci (la casa è facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi dal centro di Londra in massimo un'oretta). e ci ha raccontato di una Londra interessante e piena di opportunità. Non da ultimo, la casa è al limitare di un parco, calda e accogliente. Ristrutturata con eccellente gusto.

L'unica cosa che mi sento di segnalare è il fatto che la casa si trova nella 5^ fascia di Londra e quindi ci si impegna un pò a raggiungere il centro città. Bisogna esserne consapevoli fin da subito per non perdere tempo: fatevi aiutare da Christoff che vi dà tutte le indicazioni (la fermata del bus è proprio sotto casa). Per contro, la scelta equivale ad un grosso risparmio economico, ad un prezioso silenzio notturno (che a Londra vale molto) e al fatto che così si vede anche la countryside e l'England e non solo palazzi e grattacieli della capitale.

We were met by the property owner promptly upon arrival and then shown around the property and to our room. He was very friendly and nice to talk to. I liked the peace and quiet even though we were so close to the main road.

I didn't like the fact that there was mildew on the walls above the bed. There was mouldy food left in the bedroom cupboard that was so disgusting i messaged the owner immediately and he came to sort it out. He kept talking so much about previous customers and what they had done but I felt the issue was that the cleaning staff were incompetent. I did not like the fact that the room temperature and the kitchen area were so cold. Thankfully we were given a little electric fan heater to use which really was a great help. The space in the shower cubicle was so tiny! The stairway and stairs are rather narrow and you have to really pay attention so as not to fall or bang your head on the low ceiling. The bed sheet was dirty and the quilt cover had a big stain in which was so off putting!

We booked the property at the last minute and were pleased to find somewhere to stay. The property itself was pleasant; however, the bed was uncomfortable, and the room was not properly cleaned, with noticeable dust. The carpet on the far side of the bed was particularly filthy. The bathroom was very small, and although the kitchen was equipped with plates and cutlery, we were not allowed to use the stove or oven. On a positive note, the customer service was good.
