La Rosamarina

Very charming house with a beautiful garden. Super quiet. One makes it even more special are the hosts Ivana and Franco and their friendy dog, Ugo.

An air con in the bedroom would make it perfect.

Beautiful garden setting, lovely owners (and dog Hugo!) The property is an old family home and is wonderfully decorated in every area. They also allowed us to borrow their sun brolly, beach hats, and head torches

No AC in the room

The place is not too far from the port, close to the beaches and La Libreria (for good wines in the evening). The garden was amazing and the hosts are super kind. We could check in earlier and when leaving, the hosts allowed us to leave the baggage while we had a last bath and once back from the beach, we could have a shower outside. The rooms are nice, clean and big enough. La Rosamarina is a great place to stay when you are on Stromboli. We would definitely come back!

The location is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. La Rosamarina is surrounded by beautiful, magical garden with lemon trees, bougainvillea and other lovely plants. The atmosphere is relaxing, this is a great place for chill out and literally doing nothing. Rooms are nicely, tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. La Rosamarina hosts are so charming, very friendly and happy to help with any bookings on the island, recommendations and helpful tips. Oh, and I cannot forget about little, super-cute Hugo, owners dog who was brilliant company during our chats on the veranda. Hopefully I will visit La Rosamarina again, and I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for quiet, peaceful and comfortable accommodation on the island.

Ivana and Franco (the owners) are the best hosts on the island. We arrived on Stromboli without having done a lot of research and they shared with us all their recommendations for the best dinners on the islands avoiding all tourists traps, and put us in touch with tour operators to go on boat trips around the island and a hike to Sciara del Fuoco. Apart from the beautiful garden and the lively dog Ugo, the property is very well located - 15 to 20 min by foot from the port and 2 to 3 min by foot from the closest and secluded beach. The property is also close to a lovely bar (La Libreria), to a well furnished supermarket and to all the best restaurants of Stromboli.
