"Peaceful, restful with plentiful parking!"

9.0

Breakfast excellent and we did enjoy the mini milk churns for the milk and generous cereal variety provided separately on each table. A peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and calming rural views over the rich Pembrokeshire countryside.

"I won’t be returning"

4.0

Comfortable room and affable staff.

The local football club dinner and awards evening was on. Clearly an evening for justified celebration. However my room was in the thick of it with a table of happy, vociferous drinkers and smokers just outside my door in the courtyard. The bar door was opening and closing continuously so music was loud. At 11.45pm I phoned to ask when the music would stop. I was told it would be turned off at twelve and it was turned off then. However I was so tense by then that I slept badly. When I e- mailed after my visit to describe my experience I got no reply to that message nor to the one that I sent a week later. No doubt the football evening had been booked well in advance. I would not have stayed at the hotel if I had known that such an event was being held. Other venues have provided advance warning to potential bookers or at least apologised for a disturbed night. There did not seem to be a senior person overseeing things or subsequently bothering to reply to my message.

"Disappointed"

5.0

Pleasant lounge area and room was comfortable

There were lots a cigarette butts at the entrance and dog poo which really needed attention (no bin for smokers to dispose of there fag ends). The cooked breakfast was not cooked and the coffee was like dishwater the worst I’ve ever tasted.

"Convenient location, pleasant restaurant and rooms, staff really friendly."

8.0

Lovely furnishing, nice room, everything worked! Decent fare in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and super friendly staff.

The bathroom was a little tired, a bit of anti mould spray on the grouting would make a world of difference!
