Well organised and responsive. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. The parking in the courtyard felt very secure.

Our room at the top of the house trapped heat and we had a dreadful night's sleep. Admittedly it was at the end of the heatwave, but the ventilation was poor [although there was a rattly fan]. The property is on a main road. The windows have double glazing which makes opening them difficult and with noise penalty.

Felt very impersonal. No one to greet you, just your room key and an information sheet left on a desk, all contact via WhatsApp apart from when breakfast is being served. Didn't like my name and room number left out especially as I was travelling alone.

I picked this place for a short business trip. A single room was perfect for me during my solo one-night business trip. The host was very kind - warm and friendly, but also respectful of my privacy, which I really appreciated. The room and the whole place were spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the towels were lovely: white, soft, and fluffy. The shower was excellent, too - powerful and beautifully hot. Although the property is next to the main road, the noise was not very noticeable. The room also had a nice large desk and strong Wi-Fi, which was very useful for my work. Breakfast was a very positive start to the morning. There were great options (cooked breakfast was also available), and I was especially pleased to find peppermint tea available - a lovely surprise and definite bonus points from me! The toast with honey was delicious, as were the juice and yoghurt. For dinner, I walked across to the Anglesey Arms and had the Korean chicken burger followed by a chocolate brownie for pudding. Simply delicious! The rest of the menu looked very tempting, too, so I will leave that for next time. Overall, although this was a work trip, it was still a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend it and would happily return for future trips.
