Chichester Shepherds Hut

very handy for Chichester and very close to the lovely Gribble Inn - just right for us and our dog! highly recommended

it’s a lovely property, warm & cozy. very quiet rural location but in close proximity to loads to do. hosts were amazing.

Lovely quirky place to stay. Great for our dog with enclosed space. Really enjoyed staying at highkettle.small but perfect for a couple of days Nice clean , great shower friendly would definitely recommend

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. Not easy to get out of.bed if you were by the window but this was shown at the time of booking.

Great location, beautifully decorated-there was everything you needed for our short stay. It was very comfortable and clean. The view in the morning across the field was stunning. The owner was very welcoming and friendly but you also had a nice private garden and lovely welcome pack. It was just perfect for our couple of nights away to attend a wedding.

What a beautiful hidden gem! Loved our stay here, the views are beautiful, lovely private courtyard and the hut itself has been made to a high standard with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely be back.

The hut was well equipped, warm and cosy. Well situated to drive to Chichester, Arundel, Brighton and Bognor Regis. The hut has a small enclosed garden which was very useful for our dog. Proprietor lives in the house next door and was very friendly and approachable. A welcome “pack” of two small bottles of wine, crisps, fruit juice, milk and coffee pods was appreciated. The very modern bathroom was equipped with luxury towels.

The TV only has internet channels; i.e: no terrestrial channels. The provision of a dustpan and brush would have been appreciated! It’s not easy to walk anywhere from the hut due to the speed of traffic on the surrounding lanes.

Highkettle Hut is a cosy and private garden with a secret back door. it's a nice quiet place. We had our breakfast and evening outside. it's clean and tidy. Comfortable mattress, slept well. Our host was excellent.
