Villas Vallazoo

The hotel is in the middle of a small zoo. We had breakfast with flamingos in sight. The pool is nice. The room was big with a hamock ! Great for families with kids !

The ventilators in the top part of the room were OK, but that part of the room was hot as A/C couldn't really reach that zone. The person at the reception couldn't speak english (but was very friendly, we found a way to communicate)

The tranquility, the pool, surrounded by nature. The free breakfast and free games of mini golf were an unexpected bonus. Love this place and will return often.

What a fantastic stay! We stayed 4 days with my husband and 10 year old son and really enjoyed the place. We were able to go to the zoo everyday, did mini golf and even did a visit of the zoo at night! Staff were very nice and breakfast was included. The view from the terrace of the restaurant is great and you can hear the birds and see flamingos and fish! Beautiful setting with swimming and less than 10min drive to Valladolid. I would definitively recommend!

We have stayed at Villazoo a couple of years ago and this was a wonderful experience as well. We love the quiet surroundings of the birds singing and the zoo right next door. The rooms are very clean and large, and the staff were always friendly and asking if we needed cleaning, towels, shampoo, soap or water each day or if we needed anything at all. They spoke very little English but we are in Mexico 🇲🇽 so that was okay and they used translator when needed. The pool was fabulous and one day we woke up to no water in the pool which was very concerning but they were cleaning it and they had it done before noon and had it filled up. And the water was just as warm as the other days! The restaurant served us free breakfasts each day and were delicious and the staff were very friendly. It is located outside of Valladolid so you need to have a car to get any groceries or into town. It was an exceptional place to stay and we will return next year.

I didn’t like that the mini golf was never open. However when I asked in reception they quickly set up an appointment for us to play.

Terrible service at breakfast in the restaurant. A simple order took well over an hour to arrive and it was wrong. The only hot water was the shower

We loved the well cared for pool area which was beautifully lit in the evening. We got the iguana-styled room which made me extremely happy as they are one of my favorite animals! All over the area, there were real iguanas as well. The quality of the bed was very good, the size of the bed and room as well. Lots of room for your clothes and other things. The cloth rack in the room was very practical . Everything is very well organized and the staff was always there for us. Thank you! I think the whole place is perfect for families and you have so many options to visit the zoo, the cenotes, Valladolid centre and so on.... I was surprised that a very good breakfast was included in the price. Many parking lots in the shadow right next to the rooms. Very good wifi.

We were extremely happy, just a few things to be aware of: The breakfast is served from 8.15am in the nearby zoo. The staff there is very kind and helpful, but not very fast. Just be aware that service takes longer than usual. The restaurant is only open until 5pm. No dish towel in the room. Not such a big problem though. Shouldn't stop you from booking this really nice accommodation.

Beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Valladolid. Complimentary tickets to the zoo next door (even though it's a bit run down). The room was spacious, and comes with a microwave, coffee machine and mini fridge. The room was decorated like we were in a Safari! Very quiet and undisturbed. Reception was very helpful.

The room smelt a bit musty and damp. One of the bedside lights couldn't work as the socket wasn't working.

Great hidden gem in an eco area with a little zoo in it!! Rooms are big and spacious. All very clean and staff are lovely!!! Place is super secure with great outdoor space. There’s a restaurant there that closes at 5pm. One day of the week it closes early, I think. We arrived and it was closing, but I had my two starving kids (and us too) and asked if they had anything, even if just bread and butter…they were soooo kind and brought us two delicious hot dishes; a lemon, chicken soup and some tortillas with all the fillings. So grateful, thank you!

You definitely need a car, but that’s not a negative. It’s a short drive to town (Valladolid).

The park and the Zoo are Great especially for Kids and to Bridge some time. As well the big rooms and the Pool are nice . A Perfect Location of you wanna visit not only the City Center of valladolid.

The area could be Even more beautiful but in some spots it looked not well maintained. But maybe because we were almost alone and not many visitors
