Villa Sambal

It was a beautiful hideaway in the middle of a fantastic city. The host Hernie was fabulous. The place was quiet and idyllic, which is why I don’t want to advertise it. A perfect place to explore “jogah.”

Beautiful villa nestled in a small street of Yogya, it’s the perfect base to explore the city and feel the energy of its community. Clean and comfy. Wifi works perfectly and the people working here are just amazing. I met Felicia and she was super helpful with all my requests.

Mooi en verzorgde hostel op een goede locatie. Het zit vlakbij de nodige restaurants en barretjes. Eventueel is veel op loopafstand te doen. Aardige eigenaresse die ook een woordje Nederlands spreekt. Ze bieden een eigen kookworkshop aan.

Het is geen hostel waar je snel in contact komt met andere backpackers

In the Villa was plenty of delicious food from the cooking classes. The host was very hospitable and sweet. One evening, we even went out together, and she introduced me to Javanese cuisine. She packed me snacks for my journey. The accommodation was surrounded by greenery and well located. All in all nice!

It a really familiar environment, the owner do cooking traditional class and the place have a lot of charm. Nice experience 😊

El ambiente y la amabilidad

posizione buona, padrona di casa simpatica e gentile, eccellente cuoca, ci ha fatto assaggiare meravigliosi manicaretti della sua scuola di cuina

L'armadio che vedete nella foto aveva due dita di polvere sopra!!! MIgliorabile questo aspetto. La biancheria era comunque pulita e profumata. Siamo state bene.

Herni ist eine super nette Gastgeberin. Ich habe am Kochkurs teilgenommen und war ein Highlight für mich.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Sambal. The room has a very comfortable bed and is equipped with a very nice bathroom. The whole villa is in a nice area with lots of restaurants and places to see. At the same time it is very quiet. The highlight is Herni, the owner. She is a very nice person who will help you with all your plans. She also runs cooking classes which are very special. The food was amazing.
