Golden View B&B

Bien sûr la vue de la chambre mais aussi la hauteur sous plafond qui offre une sensation supplémentaire d’espace et de suspension dans les airs. Mais la raison pour laquelle je suis restée tout au long de mon séjour est dans nulle doute à cause de l’attention que vous porte Akshey et Dipti, il n’y a pas de mots à la hauteur de leur gentillesse et je leur en suis profondément reconnaissante et j’espère revenir rapidement.

Akshay was very helpful

The room was dirty, very damp, the blankets on the bed where not clean, it was very overpriced, the area was not clean. Akshay was the only good thing about this guest house. The photos online do not represent the rooms. The bins where filthy, walls covered in mold.

It's in a good location, not too far from cafes & the Dalai Lama Temple Complex. Great views from the room of the Himslayan hills. Very quiet at night.

The steep steps going down to get there, but you get used to them.

We had a lovely 10 day stay at Golden View BnB. Akshay was very hospitable, and we had everything we needed. A kettle was a nice touch to make tea. The place is down some stairs and off the main road which makes it much more peaceful and quiet. The view from the balcony is stunning. It’s in a convenient location in the centre of Mcleodganj. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Be careful of the monkeys with food in your room!

The rooms are beautiful with painting and dekoration. You have a balkony for your own and a really nice view to the Mountains. The bed is very comfortable. There is a roofterasse where you can do yoga. The shower has warm water if you switch on the Boiler in the bathroom 10min before showering.

It would be nice if there is a smal lamp to read, next to the bed.

The view is fabulous. The blankets were colourful and warm. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.

There are a lot of steps so something to take into consideration if you have luggage. Although, the staff helped me which was really kind.

The location Is great, the view is amazing as promised, the caretaker, Dipti, was super friendly and helpful and the whole placd is clean and comfortable. The balcony - also with mountain view - is a nice bonus.

The only gripe was that during our stay the shower acted up a bit. Warm water was low pressure and the faucet was a bit broken. But with a bit of patience a warm shower was still possible.
