Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, great stay.

We couldn't set our AC unit to below 22 degrees celsius without creating ice chunks after a few hours that would break it, so we couldn't keep the room quite as cold as we would've liked, but it was still comfortable.

Great location. Heritage feel. Clean, comfortable king bed, bathroom very good and clean. Storage cupboard, tea/ coffee maker, TV. Space good for couple. Meant for comfortable afternoon siesta and a good night sleep

Should have a mini fridge and a rack to keep suitcase. There is enough space in room. The room will add value looking to the charges.

I recently stayed at this Pearl bell villa and it was an amazing experience. The room was spacious and clean, with all basic amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. About staff (Bharath and valli) at the hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating, making sure that all my needs were met. The location of the hotel was also perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.The old colonial bungalow has been converted into a lovely guest house with traditional Indian furniture I will definitely be coming back here on my next trip. Thank you for the wonderful experience !

Overpriced for what it is and taking advantage of the fact that it was a holiday weekend. We paid 8k plus 2k in taxes.They gave us a family studio on the ground floor my friend and I, and they kept calling it a diamond suite. Two air-conditioners fixed at 24C and the room was so warm we couldn't sleep, and it was a big long room. Bathroom had a cockroach. The shower room was big but badly designed and no thought given Tiny wash basin with no place to keep any toiletries in what is actually a huge pace. No shower gel, two tiny bars of soap. One tiney shampoo, conditioner and body moisturiser for what is a family studio, if it were a family staying would that suffice? Bad shower closet came with an ugly bucket and jug and no hand shower. There was a rain shower head and the hot water comes for literally 2 minutes then it turns cold. Lighting was poor too, you could barely see inside the shower room. There were no hand towels and no place to hang clothes. There was no bath math, we had to ask for it. They give you two complimentary bottles of water per day- again is that sufficient for a family and what if we needed it for making tea? The room came with a tea coffee maker - with no regular black tea like Taj Mahal or Lipton tea bags. The room was long without any wardrobes and some hanging space right in the corner. The bed had no side tables to keep a mobile phone for charging, books or anything, what is the point of such a big room. Breakfast had limited choices - one could either choose from Continental or South Indian. And even in that the choices were limited - again they had no regular tea available just pre -made stuff. South Indian - they gave us two cold puris, cold potato vegetable, two idlis, sambhar, chutney and pongal. Continental was a pre-made omlette, two toasted slices of bread, water mellm juice. Little bowl of fruit - merely water melon again and a few grapes.

Everything was poor and disgusting.

Hotel is perfectly situated among the sights of the old French quarter and close to the seafront. Still very quiet place though. I had a room on 2nd floor which was well appointed with tea, coffee and kettle, fan and ac and private bathroom. Very comfortable. Breakfast was served on lovely terrace area - omelette, toast, fruit, juice and tea/coffee. You could also sit outside on the terrace area at night. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and helped me with my onward travel also, even providing an early breakfast when I had an early start, thanks to Sateesh and Minu.

I couldn't always get the hot water working.

The Facilities and the aesthetics of the room was excellent and the hotel staff was also soo good... Really Enjoyed the stay..

The location is absolutely perfect for anyone looking to stay near the beach and white town. The staff is courteous and professional.

The place is more of a budget stay for a short duration. The room didn't have a wardrobe and was small. The price of 5k + taxes is a bit high, but that is mostly for the location.
