Wind in the Willows Overnight

Wind in the Willows is a wonderfully quiet little getaway in Jefferson. This is our second stay there and we would definitely book again. It's not too far from a grocery store, some restaurants and other activities. Even though we had crummy weather, our stay was cosy and comfortable. The property is peaceful and fun to explore in good weather.

The beds in the Willow Suite are quite firm, which is difficult for me personally, but my partner didn't have any issues. Everything else is wonderful!

Lesley was very accommodating. She left us a welcome bag in the room along with homemade muffins. It was a very cold weekend in NY & she brought up a space heater so we were comfortable. The whole place is decorated so cute. Down the street was the Heartbreak Hotel restaurant & bar for food.

Very comfortable and clean. Feels like you're right at home, I love the style and decor. The backyard is so pretty and fun to explore. The homemade muffins were delicious. Buck hill farm right up the road is amazing for breakfast, we ate there both mornings we were visiting.

We were there for the second time and were thrilled again this time. The rooms are top equipped and super well maintained. The hosts are always very attentive and you lack nothing. We have really taken the two into our hearts. They have prepared everything wonderfully, with so much attention to detail. And the place itself and the area are just beautiful. Exactly our thing. We will come back for a third time.
