Wind in the Willows Overnight

We booked this last minute and was a little late checking in. Bob and Lesley came down and met us and got us to our room right away. They had a little welcoming bag along with muffins cold drinks and coffee in our room. Room was very clean and well decorated.

Nothing.

Lovely, large suite. Quiet. Great getaway.

Very nice home feel. Room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The bed was uncomfortable

Not much in Jefferson, and most are closed on Monday / Tuesday. This suite is on the second floor, which was not a problem for us, but might be for other travelers. Initially, there was a bit of a chemical smell in the bathroom area / dinette area, but with the windows open it receded over time. The bedroom was fine; nice and quiet.

The room was beautiful and so comfy, with a perfect small town inn feel and a lovely host, we loved our stay! Just across the st a bit is a great breakfast place called the breakfast club.

A lovely place. Our room was very spacious. We had a welcome pack of homemade muffins and a few other treats. There was a coffee machine with a wide slection of coffees and teas plus another wide selection of fruit teas. Beautifully decorated in a "Shabby Chic" homely way with an extensive peaceful garden to relax in if needed. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. Would definitely go back again if the need arose. We were there for 2 nights for a wedding.
