THe location is absolut perfect if u want to Visit the historical places. You are just next to the twin ponds. The place is surroundet by nature and u can easily get around by bike. The host and his Family is very nice and helpfull the even droped me at the busstation in the morning. You can get food and wather at the House. The Rooms are very basic and straight dont expect anything Fancy.

The location is perfect, you can reach all the historical places very easily. The owner is friendly and the breakfast was good. Please be careful when selecting air conditioned rooms when you are making the reservation cz , even the description it says that air condition is available , actually it is not. we also had that issue, But the owner offered us an air conditioned room as soon as possible, since we ignored the offer , he deducted some amount. It was a good thing. Good luck!

Better to have toilet papers , towels and quilts as mentioned in the description.

- Beautiful place in the middle of the ancient city. - Very clean - The host was amazing and did everything to make this stay amazing, helpful all the time and just the most gentle sweetheart - The food was a lot and tasty (included breakfast really good, but also the dinner was amazing)

As you are in the ancient city you need a ticket (it’s really cheap, don’t worry) if you want to make a longer walk outside, which is not even possible to have it directly as there is no ticket office except at the monuments :D It is quite hot in the room as the air can not flow through. But with the fan it’s okay!

Thylan is an incredible host. He is so friendly and very talkative. He knows a lot about the birds and other animals around his house. His wives cooked delicious meals. The breakfast was simple but very tasteful. I love her pancakes!!! The room is spacious and clean. The location is perfect to visit the ancient city.

The Owner is incredibly helpful and a super host. He helps in any situation and gives you best advices. Best: he doesn't try to talk you into overpriced stuff but helps you to avoid getting ripped off. He and his family are the perfect choice for staying inside the ancient city. you can do all the sightseeing by foot. Thanks again for your warming hospitality. We will be back.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but the hospitality made up for it.!

The owner was very friendly. The place is quiet in a jungle.

The room had no toilet paper, no blankets, no soap, no trash bins, no towels (we got one for two people but we had to ask for it). The main room was clean but the washroom wasn't. It needed a good scrub. The sink, walls and toilet were dirty. Dinner was a bit bland and expensive. One of the orders was supposed to be curry and rice and I got kottu instead which lucky I didn't have to pay for because that wasn't what I asked for. My boyfriend was blamed for it as he was the one who communicated to the owner. Breakfast tasted good but it was very small compared to other places we stayed at where the breakfast was served. Overall not a good value for money and if we knew it we would've stayed somewhere else. There were many cheaper places in Sri Lanka that were much cheaper and much better. I hope this place improves.

Friendly staff and quite helpful and flexible for changes. Highly recommended for locals and foreigners to stay as home comfortable. Quiet surroundings with bird watching near kuttam pokuna. And nearby all heritage locations for easy access.
