Epicenter - rooms & terrace

The location is really great, at the middle of one of the most interesting streets in Ljubljana with a lot of small affordable restaurants, it is probably the most global street in Slovenia, it is 5 minutes from Ljubljanica and farmer market. But, despite being on the very busy street, you do not hear the noise when you close the windows. Air - condition and wi-fi are great, the small terrace with table and chairs facing the courtyard is as well. Room is very spacious, has all the necessary things, functional, modest.

My problem was that judging by the information at the booking I thought I am booking a room with its own bathroom and small kitchenet. I was very surprised when I found out that there are 3 rooms sharing the bathroom and kitchen. Nothing was actually wrong, but I did need to share the bathroom which I do not like and I felt I should have been informed about that when booking. The kitchen is really small, has the basics, refrigerator, some pots, cups, plates .. enough for some modest cooking, no big cooking though. No chairs - you need to eat in your room or on the terrace. The instructions for getting the key and entering the building/rooms were very clear and detailed, however, I did have problems with getting the keys because the keyboard with numbers was difficult to read - I came in the evening, was dark and there was not enough light there. A light will really help.

Great location, comfortable bed and very clean. It is nice inside but hard to find as the building looks rough and the entrance is behind gates in a shared yard. The area felt safe and in easy reach of attractions.

I did not understand that it was a room with a shared kitchen and bathroom. My mistake. The shared upstairs external door had to be locked by a key, it could have done with another method so that it could be opened in an emergency without a key from the inside.

How water was switched off twice- on the two full days we were there. Why? Terrace was very dirty and untidy. The whole place has not been well maintained. I will not stay there again.

Very good location, well equipped- fully equipped kitchen, room had a hairdryer, and bathroom had soaps and shower gel. Chic modern decor- felt very luxe

Great location, easily walkable everywhere. Very standard/ basic room.

The room could be improved with curtains to block out sunlight, a side table on each side of the bed, another lamp, and hooks to hang our towels.

Located in the city center; staff seem friendly, welcoming and available.

No curtains; hot water heater kept shutting off, constantly without hot water; cleaning fee of 20€ for early check-in seems like a ripoff, especially since they wanted to charge an additional 20€ when asked to checkout an hour later.
