"Perfect place to stay before heading home."

It was basic but perfect for a stay before getting on a plane. We arrived late but they made us food. They also dropped us to the airport. Clean and good showers .

I COME TO THE HOTEL IN THE AIRPORT TAXI AROUND 4PM AND MADE SEVARAL HORN GATE DID NOT OPEN SO WE LEFT

"Decent for a 1 night stay very close to airport."

A/C was excellent. Owner was pleasant.

Lots of bugs in room and bathroom. Extremely loud with barking dogs, cars misfiring etc…

The rooms were air conditioned and very clean

The location was hard for taxis to find.... but the hotel manager was able to drive us into colombo and to the airport at reasonable rates

Very clean & nice stay very close to the airport :) The owners were super friendly & we could even use bikes to get around in Negombo.

Not as good as last time. Bathroom could have been cleaner and toilet seat broken. Asked for breakfast at 8am, this confirmed by owner three times. In the morning no one there at 8 and when owner came at 8:20 I asked about breakfast and he seemed to have totally forgotten, even though we’d talked about it extensively the evening before I went to bed. Left without breakfast as he said it would take another 30 minutes and my taxi had arrived. Very noisy in the night with neighbours talking loudly until after midnight and someone mixing cement also. For these reason I would not return again. It was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for.

The Cottage was very lovely, clean and air-conditioned . The bed was very comfortable, the sheets and pillow cases were extremely white and clean with an awesome mosquito net. You could order breakfast and dinner depending on the menu for the day. Yes the meals were very tasty. The hosts were only to obliging to fulfill your desired meal when possible. Nothing was too difficult for the owners, they were polite, friendly and very accommodating. They would even find the time to have a quick chat, if ever you needed to. They were as good as family. The cottage is a very peaceful and convenient place to chill out for a few days or overnight stay, depending on your circumstances. The Airport is a stones throw from Eco Cottage and the owner can organize transport if required. It is value for money. Highly recommend. Thank you Eco Cottage
