Meo Vac Cosy Hostel

Room was clean and comfy. Bathroom clean. Food available to buy from downstairs helpful after long day driving

The staff was friendly and the private room was quite spacious. The dinner is good and the breakfast is great. The location is at walking distance from the centre, though there is not much to do. It was all very clean.

It was not so cozy. No nice atmosphere or relaxing area. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel.

First of all, the pictures on booking dont match the hostel. We knew that beforehand but its still a bit weird. Our "private" room didn't have walls all the way up to the ceiling, the last bit was just curtain. This allowed a lot of noise to travel into our room. The surrounding area is very noisy. There's a boarding school next to the hostel which wakes up their students at 0600. After that there's very little chance of you continuing sleeping unless you have really good earplugs. Our room also felt like a remodeled bathroom, as there were sealed off waterplugs next to the bed. We were lucky to be the only ones otherwise there is just one bathroom for the whole floor (including the 8 or 10 person dorm). We were also awoken in the middle of the night by the sound of termites. Wouldn't recommend.
