Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einem Onsen im Keller, perfekt um aufzuwärmen nach einem Skitag. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende und auch das Essen ist empfehlenswert.

The meals were delicious and plentiful. It was so nice to know breakfast and dinner were planned for us each day. We couldn't wait for meal times as each day was a tasty new variety of offerings. The beds were comfy and we liked that each room had a private toilet and sink. The onsen downstairs was convenient and the property was located less than a block away from the ski shuttle and on the main road towards the Chuo bus terminal and eateries.

Not sure. We had a great time. maybe a stronger property wifi connection, but our personal hotspot worked well.

The owners are very friendly and approachable. The free shuttle bus stop is just right next to the building which makes things convenient. The facilities are very nice and neat. We enjoyed the authentic Japanese breakfast and the hot tub. They also provided the dry room for ski gears. Everyday they would make some free Japanese rice balls for hotel guests to enjoy. The overall experience was good and worth for the money. We look forward to going back again! Thank you.

The indoor slippers were slightly slippery and oversized. Sometimes it would fall off. Also, the rooms are spacious which can actually fit 2 adults and 1 kids. If they can open this option, it would be great. However, the overall experience was still amazing.

Lovely staff, very comfortable, and great location. It’s right in front of one of the public onsens in the town and the ski shuttle stop, so it’s very convenient. They have a public bath and freshly made breakfast everyday.

Cozy Japanese ryokan located a short walk out of the heart of Nozawa Onsen town. Clean, comfortable, and lovely hospitable staff. Onsen and drying room in the basement which is perfect after a long day at the snow. Breakfast was highly nutritious and delicious, as well as the free onigiris made fresh daily. Cannot recommend enough!

Can be a bit noisy, hearing sounds from the street and building across the road.

Lovely family run ryokan. Onsen was fantastic. Breakfast included was substantial and delicious. Fluffy quilts on our futons kept us toasty warm and comfortable at night even in the coldest weather. Handy to bus stop for the shuttle up to the ski area.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The room was traditional but comfortable, the shared onsen exceeds all expectations, the breakfast each morning was a true highlight of the stay and definitely get the dinner at least one night while you're there. The staff go above and beyond to help out, they can help organise lift passes (at a discount too!) and they even drove us down to Iiyama station when we couldn't get a taxi or a bus in a blizzard. Virtually impossible to fault.

The area can be a bit hard to walk in when the snow covers everything, but that's ski towns in winter.
