"Great family-friendly location in a traditional setting"

Great location. Very friendly family run business. You def feel like you are part of their home. Food at breakfast was always tasty with enough choice for 1 week. Comfortable rooms and beds with storage space for ski gear and suitcases.

Communal bath area is a bit tired. Some Heating issues meant room was either too hot or too cold.

Fantastic location, a short walk to the Karasawa chair lifts giving quick access. Also within 50 metres of an Onsen.

A no frills operation which was fine by us.

"Awesome family-run ryoken in a good location that has everything you need for a ski holiday at a good price."

Very cozy, the room was nice and warm and the futons were surprisingly comfortable. Having a private toilet and basin was a huge benefit. The shower/onsen was also nice. And the ski storage/drying room was ideal. Great restaurants nearby, ski hire within meters, and only 6 minutes walk from the nearest chair lift.

Small table in room-not big enough for 4 people.
