I loved how close this property was to a ski lift and it was a short walk to the main part of town staff was lovely and the rooms were great

It was in such an excellent location- only 4 minutes walk to the nearest chairlift. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

The nearest toilet was out of order which meant having to go downstairs, but it wasn’t too bad.

Staff are nice and dry room for ski stuff

Shower and Onsen time is only available from 3.30-pm - 10.30pm and I didn’t know that before. It’s okay for the time but I’m a person who always shower in the morning

Uchihan is such a lovely ryokan - location was amazing! We were right by a lift so saved us a lot of hassle walking around with all our gear. It's a lovely, family run, traditional hotel which was exactly what I wanted, the breakfast was lovely if you're open to a more japanese influenced brekkie. Facilities were great, toilet was closed on our floor but a couple on the floor below, the mini onsen is open after 3pm and also nice but the public onsen just outside was bigger and hotter. All around lovely and quaint place, would definitely come back.

The option to shower in the morning would be good but not a necessity.

The room was very clean and the staff was very responsive. We got a hotpot for two for dinner and it was delicious and very filling. Very comfortable bedding. Great access to the slope(4 minutes walk away) Lots of food options nearby as well

Since I'm very used to fluffy pillows, the pillows were a bit on the slim side.

We loved the traditional Japanese breakfast, bath with onsen and family feel of Uchihan. The private toilet is a bonus.

Staff was really nice and it was great to have a nice breakfast every morning.
