The Dozy Deer

Cozy room, comfortable bed and free unlimited hot drinks in the dining area. We stayed on NYE and the host provided us all with a bottle of Prosecco and a late check out which was a gorgeous gesture.

The owner was very friendly. The property was very clean and in an ideal location.

A perfect little escape! The Dozy Deer was spotless—both our room and the dining area were beautifully kept. The host was friendly and communicative, and the coffee machine was a dream! Parking was a bit tight due to half term, but understandable. We really appreciated the late check-out—it gave us a chance to unwind before heading home. Peaceful, welcoming, and just what we needed.

It was a really nice stay, The rooms were comfortable and clean, the location was perfect, Beds were clean and comfy, only a 5 mins walk to local shops and restaurants, The owner was pleasant and replied to messages promptly, I would recommend and would stay again!

The only thing was the toilet fan! With it being on a sensor every time you go to the toilet it wakes the other person sleeping, would have liked an option to turn it off and be able to use the small shaving light instead but not a big issue

Before arrival, we received instructions on how to gain entry to the premises. A very cosy and clean room, the entire premises was spotless. Locates in a fantastic location very close to shops and eateries also Bowness in Windermere. Lovely friendy couple running the premises and we wish them all the best in the future with their new arrival.
